edPower Supplier Diversity Program Guidelines

Thank you for being interested in participating in our edPower Supplier Diversity Program. Our program fosters collaboration and partnership with independent contractors, entrepreneurs, vendors, and small businesses. To ensure the success of our partnership and to maintain high standards of professionalism, we have established the following guidelines for our suppliers:

Legal Entity Status: Suppliers must be registered as a legal entity, such as a Doing Business As (DBA), Limited Liability Company (LLC), or Incorporation (Inc), following local laws and regulations.
Business Insurance: Suppliers are required to maintain appropriate business insurance coverage, such as Professional Errors and Omissions (E&O) insurance or workers' compensation policy, to protect against potential liabilities arising from their services.
Financial Responsibility: Suppliers must manage their own profit and loss statements, demonstrating financial stability and accountability in their business operations.
Assumption of Expenses: Suppliers are responsible for assuming any expenses incurred to complete assigned projects, including but not limited to mileage, preparation hours, and other related costs.
Equipment and Resources: Suppliers must maintain adequate equipment, tools, and resources necessary to fulfill project requirements efficiently and effectively.
Acquiring Additional Clients: We fully support suppliers in acquiring additional clients beyond edOpp. We encourage you to actively engage in marketing, advertising, or other efforts to expand your business or secure more work. We will also be happy to provide references for your work with edOpp to expand your client base and opportunities for growth. Your work with edOpp Solutions constitutes a nonexclusive relationship.
Performance Excellence: Suppliers must meet or exceed the performance criteria as deemed by the project, contract, client partners, and comply with specific, applicable federal, state, tribal, or local laws or regulations. Consistently delivering high-quality work and meeting project milestones are essential for maintaining our partnership.
Professionalism and Communication: Suppliers are expected to always conduct themselves with professionalism and integrity. Clear and timely communication with edOpp representatives and other stakeholders is essential for successful collaboration.
Compliance with Policies and Regulations: Suppliers must adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing their industry and the services provided to edOpp Solutions. Additionally, suppliers must adhere to edOpp company policies and contract specifications. This includes but is not limited to data security, confidentiality, ethical standards, and any other policies outlined in the project scope of work between edOpp and the supplier.
Feedback and Continuous Improvement: We value feedback from our suppliers and encourage open communication to address any concerns and identify opportunities for improvement in our partnership.

By adhering to these guidelines, suppliers can ensure a mutually beneficial and successful relationship with edOpp Solutions. We appreciate your commitment to diversity and inclusion in our supply chain and look forward to collaborating with you to achieve our shared goals.
